The Rains came that Day

The storm thundered over the mountain range,
many creatures nestled under the shelter of the dark forest, watching has the storm passed by.
The small creeks grew in size, as the fresh mountain waters enlarged their borders.
The villagers furrowed fields, softened by the rains of that storm.
The heated ground, ebbed steam emerging from the cooling drops,
the rains came that day bringing drinks to the crops.
The fawns lapped droplets falling low on the leafs,
many creatures lapped strength from the shores of the creeks.
The waters persisted with a steady course,
washing and watering, a natural force.
The rains kept on pouring no intentions to stop,
the earth must be watered, first the seed, then the crop.
The ground now moistened allowed seeds to breach,
growing and growing, the stems start to reach.
Higher and taller first comes the stalk,
in anticipation the villagers talk.
The harvest is nearing for the reapers to reap,
grain will becoming, bread sold on the streets.
The rains came that day drenching, soaking and watering.
The mission accomplished, the purpose fulfilled.
The storms came thundering over the mountain range.
The furrowed fields of the villagers now watered.
The crops now grown and harvested.
Bread sold in the streets and marketplaces.
Men, women and children eating their fill at the tables.
Souls are sustained, strength is given,
the rains came that day, commissioned from heaven.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth: it shall not return void but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.*
