The Eyes Of The Lord

I sat at that console to monitor crime,
the survielliance so detailed I spotted a dime.
Monitoring people just passing by,
not a clue that I'm watching, that eye in the sky.
Cameras all over, many video screens,
I see all at once, every movement, every scene.
I pan with precision and slowly survey,
for crimes occurring that day.
I sat there amazed, seeing all I could see,
I thought to myself, "but they can't see me".
With a twist of that knob, what's far becomes near,
then insight just hits me, this thought is so clear.
The eyes of the Lord see far beyond men,
seeing their motives, from beginning to end.
The eyes of the Lord see the good and the bad,
recording each moment, some happy, some sad.
The eyes of the Lord see every sigh,
the pains of injustice, catches His eye.
The eyes of the Lord see all our thoughts,
we are naked before Him there's no hidden parts.
The eyes of the Lord see the false and the true,
weight all your actions, watch what you do.
The eyes of the Lord behold the weak,
the widow, the stranger, the orphans, the meek.
The eyes of the Lord observes all wrongs,
judging the wicked, His arms are strong.
Men may think they are getting away,
but their deeds are recorded for Judgement Day.
In light of my discourse, let us all take heed,
Heaven has cameras with innumberable screens.
The eyes of the Lord are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good*
*(Proverbs 15:3 NKJV)

Rodney,You've outdone yourself with this one! 'Whew'. I'm especially favoring this: " ... The eyes of the Lord see far beyond men, seeing their motives, from beginning to end ... " Just grand, I tell you. Grand! Thanks for sharing this, RodneyThank you, I am so glad that you liked it.
hi rodney, this poem hits home, because it is the foundation from which i find strength.i have done wrong, and i have been wronged, but i don't bother myself with thoughts of revenge, i know God is watching our every move, and i don't believe in a vengeful God, I believe we go through our own review and get to feel how we made others feel throughout our lives, and then we can move on.sounds good to me.thanks for sharing your talent,my best to you, sueI share the same feelings, I find comfort in the fact that if His eyes are on the sparrow, then I know He watches me. Thanks again for your kind words.
